Two office towers and furniture mall are main elements of the program for this development planned for the bustling new hi-tech zone on the south of Chengdu. The client’s idea of the furniture mall was elaborated in a stylish lifestyle concept mall that offers a wide range of experiences that go along with the shopping. To make the space more inviting and intimate we introduced a courtyard that elegantly ignites the art gallery feel and offers different event and activities opportunities that can be held in this subtly secluded public space.

The facade concept came from an idea of unwrapping a gift where curtain wall slightly wrinkles on one side allowing for spaces like sky gardens or public facilities of the office tower to be accentuated and more illuminated.
